• “California Dream For All Program”

Currently in the final phases of approval, this program offers some great benefits. The program would provide 17% toward the purchase price of a first home, either eliminating the need for a large down payment, or even potentially covering the entirety of the down payment for homebuyers, who would also receive mortgage counseling.

• Golden State Finance Authority

Golden State Finance Authority (GSFA) provides access to mortgage financing, down payment assistance, and mortgage credit certificates for California homebuyers.

GSFA also provides financing for homeowners making energy efficiency improvements to residential properties they own.

• California Housing Finance Agency

Lenders are required to calculate income to qualify borrower(s) for loan approval using FHA, USDA and VA guidelines. CalHFA will use the lender’s credit qualifying income to determine if the loan exceeds the maximum program income limit. Income not used by the lender for credit qualifying will not be used by CalHFA.
